I recently read this book and I couldn't stop! This book is one of my favorite chapter books and I look forward to reading more in the series! Jesse Sharpe, a kid orphan, genius, and spy for a secret organization called C2. She has one mission to do: protect a little girl, Jessica, from a kidnap attempt. Along with her partner, she finds out that the kidnappers aren't looking for Jessica, they're looking for her. Did someone from her organization plan this? Or was this just another tough case?
The book is really old, but still really good. I like how descriptive it is, making you feel like you are there. I recommend it for tweens or anyone, really! I rate it 10/10 stars.
Just Jake is a tale of a sixth grader trying to fit in to a new school after moving to a new state. He dreads that he will never go up on the charts of popularity. So sad. Then, he meets this kid they call "Wild Boy", mainly because he wears a whole lotta camouflage! But, he realizes that this kid is better than what he looks like. He befriends him and learns that this guy knows martial arts and a lot about the wild. This book is great for 10+ and I recommend it for anyone looking for a funny adventure.
NOTE: This book was written by 15-year-old Jake Marcionette, who was 13 when he published this book. There are two others out now! ENJOY!
This book was so sad. I thought it was one of the best books I have read. The story is so heartwarming. Having her mom just die, Yolonda keeps asking where she is. She realizes the her mom is all around her. It is recommended for 5+
It reminds you to be thankful that you have two parents and to be happy even in sad times. Yolonda showed such a great example of that, so kids can understand what it is like to go through tough times.
I rate it 5/5 stars because it was such a great book, I couldn't stop reading it.
I thought this was a good book in general. The plot is kinda confusing, but mostly clear. I like the character Cleo. She reminds me of an imaginative little girl. I thought this book was really well written. I give it 3/5 stars.
This wonderful book by Rachel Renee Russull (R.R.R.-how cool is that?) is about a new kid (Nikki Maxwell) who is going into a pricey private school, only due to the deal her dad (an exterminator) made with the school. She meets two girls, that she thinks are both stupid when it comes to playing ANY sport. She blames her loses to those two idiots. But, when she meets them when she "accidentally" signs up to be an Lsa (Library Shelving Assistant), she actually thinks that they could be friends. Along the way, she finds Mackenzie Hollister: daughter of a billionaire and Queen of the CCPS (Cool, Cute, and Populars). Mackenzie swears that she hates Nikki. They go through fights, overcome fears, and get through dramas. Oh, and there's this really hot guy that Nikki has a crush on. Shhh...it's a secret.
I rate this book a 4/5 stars, because it is a little over exaggerated. Of course, every Diary of a Wimpy Kid book is too so...
I hope you enjoy this book and have fun reading it like I did!!!
This book was so cute! I don't think it is just for kids that are, like, four years old. This is for EVERYONE! It teaches great lessons and shows good characters. Even adults can learn a little something from this book.
You'll be glad to here that this is a kid-friendly graphic novel. This one many people can enjoy together. I rate this book 8/10 stars, since it was a little short.
Overall, a good book. It comes out on October 4, 2016.
